Upcoming events – October 2009 

FOOTY DAY – Friday 25th September 

We have a special day planned for the Football grand final.  Come dressed up in your favourite footy colours, for a real footy lunch, and come play footy with some of our Football mums and dads.  We will be having our own little Aus–kick competition going, with medals up for grabs.

SPECIAL PERSONS AFTERNOON TEA – Thursday 15th October 

Kids please bring along someone special to our Afternoon Tea.  It could be a mummy, a daddy, grandpa, grandma, cousin or aunty or uncle.  Come along for the day and spend some time with all of us.

TOOTH FAIRY – Wednesday 7^th  and 15^th October

We have the special tooth fairy coming along to talk with our kids about brushing our teeth and healthy eating habits! 

TINDLE TOODLE  the ROAD SAFETY BEAR

Date still to be confirmed but tindle toodle will be coming to the centre to discuss with the children road safety rules and pedestrian safety. 

CHICKEN HUTCH – Monday12^th October  – 23^rd October

For two weeks in September, we will be having a chicken hutch in the rooms for the children to interact with.  The chicks will come as new born, and the children can share the experience of seeing them grow, developing fur and learning to use their wings etc.  The children can also feed them daily and ensure they have water, therefore feeling a sense of responsibility.

HALLOWEEN AFTERNOON TEA – Friday 30^th October 

INTERNATIONAL FOOD MONTH 

This month we will be cooking all those yummy recipes which our parents have given us from around the world for the children to eat, and help create if they can.
